Each year, YWCA York publishes an annual report to share highlights of the critical work we do in York County that impacts the lives of over 28,000 people. United as “One YWCA,” we are as determined and strong as ever. See our mission in action as we:
Celebrated one of our Synchro participants qualifying for Junior Nationals
Expanded QOP to include a workforce development program
Partnered with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission for Women’s History Month
Completely renovated one of our victim service properties and made several other key improvements
We know it’s important for your donation to be used effectively, which is why YWCA York works hard to be accountable and transparent. Please contact Shawn Jamison, our CFO, if you need more information or require a copy of our current 990 report.
YWCA York is a proud partner agency of the United Way of York County. We received funding for Early Childhood Education, Quantum Opportunities and the following victim services programs: ACCESS York, Community Education, and the Victim Assistance Center. We regularly achieve 100% employee giving among our own staff!
YWCA York is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO). PANO is accredited by the national Standards for Excellence Institute. We have adopted the Standards for Excellence as a plan for continuing to uphold the highest standard of ethical conduct and accountability within all areas of our organization and were reaccredited in 2019.
