YWCA York is rated at the highest site level, Star 4, by the PA Keystone STARS Quality Improvement Program, indicating our early education is of high quality and offers a family-friendly atmosphere with teachers who really care. YWCA York is also nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, an achievement only 8% of learning centers, nationally, are able to achieve.

YWCA York operates an Early Learning Center for children ages six weeks to three years old in a creative, nurturing environment, complete with a new outdoor classroom for additional exploration.

Pre-K Counts

YWCA York provides quality pre-kindergarten opportunities to children and families in York County through the PA Department of Education's Pre-K Counts program. YWCA York’s program enrolls a total of 165 full-time children with all teachers holding a PA State Teachers’ Certification for PK-Grade 4.

YWCA York supports families in York County through School Age Care programming that serves ALL K-8 schools in the School District of the City of York, Eastern York School District, Lincoln Charter, Northeastern School District, York Academy, and York Suburban School District.
