Unfortunately, due to limited available storage, we cannot accept all donations. Please check our donation wish list* to see our current needs. We appreciate your support and generosity.
*Please note that YWCA York only accepts donations of new items. We encourage you to take gently used clothing and household goods to St. Mary’s Thrift Shop at 26 E. College Avenue (717-812-9999), which provides our clients with vouchers to pick out free items.

YWCA York participates in EITC and NAP tax credit programs.
We are an Educational Improvement Organization and Scholarship Organization. Your business may receive a tax credit equal to 75% of its contribution to YWCA York, up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable year. The tax credit may be increased to 90% of the contribution made, up to a maximum of $750,000 per taxable, if your business agrees to provide the same amount of contribution to an organization for two consecutive years.
All EITC donations made to YWCA York help our organization deliver high quality early learning to low-income families in our community through our Early Learning Center and Quantum Opportunities Program.
We also participate in Neighborhood Assistance Program tax credits each year. For 2020 we are applying for NAP and SPP funds. Learn more about these options on the pa.gov website: NAP
