2023 YWCA York Race Against Racism

YWCA York’s 17^th Annual Race Against Racism will be held on Saturday, April 29^th at 10:00 am, at 320 E. Market Street, York, PA.

Race Against Racism is one of YWCA York’s signature events designed to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities.

The event is a 5k race, run or walk through the streets of downtown York that commemorates diversity, inclusion and equality for all. There will be timed and untimed races, cash prizes, and an optional, but fun, Kids Fun Run.

This year’s theme is “One YWCA York, “fostering the importance of unity and strength, while acknowledging the beauty and healthiness of a diverse and inclusive community, supporting our racial justice work and mission to eliminate racism.
