York, PA – (March 5, 2019) A Mermaid Fun Swim class will be offered on Saturday, April 6 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at YWCA York, 320 East Market Street, York. Boys and girls ages six and up will learn how to swim like a beautiful mermaid or a stealth-like merman.

Instructors will give participants tips on how to swim with a mermaid tail and set up fun activities in the pool. Unlike before, this Mermaid Fun Swim will feature activities and lessons for both beginners and more advanced swimmers. Participants must provide their own mermaid tail. If you don’t have a tail, flippers will be provided, or a tail can be purchased online. Adults must accompany any non-swimming child in the pool area.

The price is $5.00 per person. If you would like more information about this event or to register, please contact Kathy Warner, YWCA York aquatics director, at 717-434-1767 or kwarner@ywcayork.org.
