YWCA York’s 15th Annual Triathlon Held at Lake Redman

York, PA – (February 8, 2019) YWCA York’s 15th Annual Y-Tri (Sprint Triathlon) will be held Sunday, June 23rd at 7:30am at Lake Redman, 296 Hess Farm Road, York, presented by White Rose Credit Union.

This is the third year YWCA York’s Y-Tri is taking place at Lake Redman, a 290-acre reservoir, featuring a 500-yard outdoor lake swim, 15-mile road bike ride and a 5K (3.1 mile) outdoor run.

“We’re excited to be having Y-Tri at Lake Redman once again,” said Kathy Warner, YWCA York’s aquatics director. “YWCA York’s Y-Tri is one of the best in the area. Whether you are seasoned triathlon participant or new to the sport, our Y-Tri will give you the challenge you are looking for.”

If you would like to participate in this year’s YWCA York Y-Tri, registration is available on our website at www.ywcayork.org. Participate as an individual or as a team. Everyone is welcome to attend to cheer on the athletes.
