Dover Town Hall Meeting On Violence In Our Communities

Categories: News

York, PA – (October 18, 2018) The community is invited to attend a town hall meeting on Tuesday, October 30th at 7pm at Dover Area High School, 46 West Canal Street, Dover, to discuss violence in our homes and communities.

A panel of experts representing victim services, law enforcement, legislative representatives and education professionals will explore the issues affecting our community and discuss how you can be an agent of change to work towards the prevention of violence in your community.

There will be resource tables from 6:30-7pm before the start of the meeting for community members to view and talk with.

Violence has no place in our communities, but all too often our families and our communities are devastated by the consequences of violent acts. These crimes affect all of us, no one is immune. Violence can be prevented.
