York, PA – (August 3, 2018) The community is invited to attend a town hall meeting on Thursday, August 23rd at 7pm at Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion, to discuss violence in our homes and communities.
A panel of experts representing victim services, law enforcement, legislative representatives and education professionals will explore the issues affecting our community and discuss how you can be an agent of change to work towards the prevention of violence in your community.
There will be resource tables from 6:30-7pm before the start of the meeting for community members to view and talk with.
Violence has no place in our communities, but all too often our families, our communities are devastated by the consequences of violent acts. These crimes affect all of us, no one is immune. Violence can be prevented.
