The mission of YWCA York's Fitness and Aquatic departments is to improve the quality of life for people of all ages through physical fitness and health education. Programs aim to prevent health problems in adults and develop healthy habits in youth. Our programs strengthen bodies and build self-esteem and confidence. Young people learn the value of teamwork and the importance of safety while developing skills that will last a lifetime.
YWCA York offers over 75 fitness, recreational, and educational programs for all members of the family. Facilities include a pool, meeting space, and free parking. The building includes a fitness center with nautilus and cardiovascular equipment. All aerobic classes are available for both men and women.
