VAC/ACCESS-York Volunteer Registration
YWCA York could not continue its service without our dedicated volunteers. These volunteers, called Advocates, help to work our 24-hour hotline and provide hospital accompaniment to crime victims.
Advocates go through a 65-hour training program. Trainings are held in the spring and fall of each year. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, have access to private transporation and a private telephone, and obtain a PA Child Line clearance and Criminal Background check.
