VAC/ACCESS-York Volunteer Registration

YWCA York could not continue its service without our dedicated volunteers. These volunteers, called Advocates, help to work our 24-hour hotline and provide hospital accompaniment to crime victims.

Advocates go through a 73-hour training program. Training sessions are held two times a year.  Evening sessions are conducted in the Spring, and a daytime training session is held in the Fall.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, have access to private transporation and a private telephone, and obtain a PA Child Line clearance and Criminal Background check.

To register to volunteer with VAC or ACCESS-York, please fill out the application below or download this form to be completed and mailed to YWCA York.
