YWCA York
YWCA York was founded in 1891 as a place for women to come together to learn, strengthen their minds and bodies, and advocate for social change. Today, YWCA York responds to the needs of busy families with innovative programs, flexible scheduling, and affordable fees.
YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people.
The purpose of YWCA York is to work proactively and collaboratively to provide programs that promote racial justice; empower women; eliminate domestic violence, sexual assault and other forms of violence; and strengthen our community.
